Coming from Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India, Smt. Vani learned Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam at a young age. She hails from a family of musicians and connoisseurs of fine arts. She mastered choreography and choreographs all her dance pieces in Kalakshetra style, adding her personal touch of grace and intimacy without compromising the transitional style.

 

She is a renowned artist in the Tri-State area. She started training and sculpting local Indian dancers in the classical art form since 1993. She manages her dance school under the name Vani Natyalayam in Trumbull and Monroe, CT.

 

Her students including her adult students have performed in many regional venues and showcased their talents.
